Job Summary
The SMII leads a service team at VIP, ensuring safe operations, executing VIP programs and standards, and delivering a superior customer experience. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a high-caliber team, ensuring LMS and vendor training, achieving ASE certifications, scheduling to meet customer needs, coordinating work orders, and maintaining a clean, compliant service environment. The role emphasizes safety, policy adherence, effective communication, and ongoing professional development to prepare for future advancement toward a Service Manager role.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
