Job Summary
Service Manager II at VIP location in Lewiston, ME responsible for leading a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience, ensuring safety, developing staff, scheduling, dispatching work orders, and maintaining service operations in compliance with policies. The role includes hiring and developing associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training, ASE certifications, managing daily operations, coordinating communications, and upholding service standards. Requires automotive service knowledge, strong leadership and communication, and relevant certifications; 5-day workweek with long hours.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
