Job Summary
Service Manager II in Houlton, ME leads automotive service operations to deliver VIP customer experience while developing a high-performing team. Responsibilities include prioritizing workplace safety, performing duties of an Assistant Manager, learning VIP processes, hiring and developing associates, coordinating LMS and vendor trainings, certifying ASE credentials, scheduling to meet customer needs across all hours, facilitating daily huddles and meetings, managing communications, and overseeing service efficiency through proper dispatching of work orders, while ensuring facility and equipment maintenance, compliance with Code of Ethics and applicable regulations, and ongoing coaching to drive performance.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
