Job Summary
Service Manager II at VIP in Framingham, MA leads a team to deliver exceptional automotive service, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role encompasses hiring and developing an effective team, coordinating scheduling across all hours of operation, training through LMS and vendor programs, ensuring ASE certifications are in place, managing dispatch and work orders with first-available technicians, supporting communication and daily huddles, and upholding service codes of ethics and all relevant regulations. The position requires strong leadership, excellent verbal and written communication, business acumen, and deep understanding of automotive servicing.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
