Job Summary
Service Manager II role at VIP in Farmingdale, ME, developing and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and VIP program execution. Responsibilities include ensuring workplace safety, performing duties of the Assistant Manager, hiring and developing associates, coordinating training (including LMS and vendor training), ensuring ASE certifications, scheduling to meet customer needs across all hours, effective communication and daily huddles, guiding dispatch of work orders to technicians, representing policy administration, and maintaining facility and equipment standards in compliance with Codes and Regulations. Requires strong people management, communication, organizational skills, automotive servicing knowledge, and a proven track record in automotive service management.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
