Job Summary
Service Manager II position in Brunswick, ME leading a store’s automotive service team to deliver VIP-level customer experiences. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a superior team, ensuring safety and compliance, scheduling to meet all hours of operation, dispatching work orders to technicians, communicating effectively through daily huddles and meetings, and delivering the 5 for 5 process to educate customers about vehicle conditions and solutions. Requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, knowledge of automotive servicing, and ASE certifications (C1 required with optional P2 and G1). This role emphasizes adherence to safety, policy, and regulatory compliance while maintaining facility and equipment standards and supporting performance targets.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
