Job Summary
Service Manager II leads a team in an automotive service location in Brewer, ME; responsible for safety, staffing, training, scheduling, communication, customer experience, compliance with policies and procedures, and facility/impactful operations to meet VIP program standards. Responsibilities include hiring and developing associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training, ensuring ASE certifications for staff, coordinating scheduling, conducting daily huddles and meetings, managing communications and customer interactions, directing dispatching of work orders to technicians, maintaining service desk operations, and upholding safety, ethics, and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes leadership development toward a future Service Manager position, ensuring the location operates efficiently across all hours and maintains a clean, compliant service environment.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
