Job Summary

The SMII role focuses on developing into a Service Manager by leading a team to deliver VIP customer experiences, ensuring safe operations, training and certifying associates (ASE), scheduling to meet demand, and maintaining facility and process standards. Responsibilities include hiring and developing staff, enforcing safety and compliance, coordinating communication, managing work orders and dispatch, and driving service performance while maintaining a strong customer service focus. Requires automotive service industry knowledge, leadership skills, and relevant ASE certifications, with a standard 5-day, 50-hour work week.

Required Qualifications

  • Two years related experience in automotive service management
  • Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
  • Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
  • Equipment Safety Certification
  • ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
  • ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
  • ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
  • State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
