Job Summary
The role is to manage the Belfast, ME automotive service location in line with VIP programs and standards, ensuring safe operations, leading the service team, scheduling to meet customer needs, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include hiring and developing associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, ASE and other certifications, coordinating dispatch of work orders to technicians, conducting daily huddles and meetings, enforcing safety and compliance with codes, maintaining facility and equipment, and acting as policy administrator to uphold service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
