Job Summary
Service Manager II role in Bangor, ME leads a team to deliver exceptional customer experience while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a superior team, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings, advancing ASE certifications, scheduling to meet customer needs, effective internal communication and Huddles, managing work orders and dispatching to technicians, participating in off-site trainings, and maintaining facility and equipment standards. Requires strong leadership, verbal/written communication, organizational and time-management abilities, automotive-servicing knowledge, and adherence to service ethics and regulatory requirements. The position emphasizes coaching, safety, and execution of VIP programs and standards to earn automotive customers for life.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related automotive service management experience
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
