Job Summary
Service Manager II leads and develops an automotive service team to deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational standards. Responsibilities include hiring and coaching associates, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings, guiding scheduling to cover all hours of operation, dispatching work orders to technicians based on availability, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing the service Code of Ethics and regulatory requirements, and communicating effectively with management and staff. Requires strong leadership, automotive servicing knowledge, organizational skills, and ability to manage programs and VIP standards within a 5-day, 50-hour workweek.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
