Job Summary
Greet customers, escort them to products, and provide prompt, efficient service while learning names to enhance the shopping experience. Supervise and coordinate employee activities, assign duties, and evaluate performance for promotions or transfers. Manage store operations by ordering merchandise, verifying deliveries, and ensuring compliance with policies and safety procedures. Compile sales and inventory reports, handle cash registers, and recommend cost reduction programs. Maintain a positive atmosphere through teamwork and address customer issues or suggestions directly.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent experience
- Two years or more of similar or related work experience
- Must be able to physically perform medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds of force frequently, and 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Night & Weekend Shifts Required
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre employment drug screen
