Service Manager - Houlton, ME

Service Manager in Houlton, ME responsible for leading and developing the automotive service team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Focuses include safety as priority, hiring and coaching associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, ensuring ASE certifications (C1, with P2 and G1 recommended) are pursued where applicable, managing scheduling to meet customer needs, overseeing dispatch of work orders by first available technician, maintaining facility and equipment, ensuring compliance with service codes and regulations, and communicating effectively with management and staff to uphold VIP’s mission of earning automotive customers for life. Requires strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, a solid understanding of automotive servicing, and relevant certifications and licenses, including a valid driver’s license. The role entails a 5-day workweek with minimum 50 hours per week and frequency of on-site responsibilities at the Houlton location, with in-location facility and equipment management, safety training, and adherence to safety and environmental codes.
