Job Summary
Service Manager at Whaley Food Service in Fort Worth, TX, overseeing branch service operations: supervise service technicians, set up daily and on-call schedules, respond to customers and factories on service issues, provide technical support to the parts and service teams, coordinate ready boxes and parts, lead weekly tech meetings, cover for Area Manager in absence, and be available for on-call support (nights, holidays, weekends) with extensive travel to job sites. Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to prioritize service calls and assign technicians, and organizational focus on customer and employee satisfaction. Must be able to lift 5–50 pounds and perform repetitive bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling; on-call weekend rotation may be required; non-exempt status.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years previous experience as a Service Technician or 1-3 years industry experience combined with 2-3 years direct customer service experience
- Valid driving record under auto liability insurance guidelines
