Job Summary
Service Manager in Framingham, MA responsible for leading an automotive service team and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a qualified team, ensuring LMS and vendor training, achieving safety and compliance with policies and regulations, coordinating service scheduling and dispatch, guiding technicians on work orders, maintaining a clean and safe facility, and enforcing the Service Code of Ethics. Candidates should possess strong leadership, communications, organization, and automotive servicing knowledge, with ASE certifications and a valid driver’s license. The role requires managing a team across a location with standard five-day weeks and extended hours, and emphasizes safety, training, and policy adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
