Job Summary
Service Manager at EquipmentShare leading a team of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians at the Rapid City rental facility. Responsible for creating, assigning, and monitoring work orders, tracking service intervals, parts ordering, diagnosing issues across multiple makes/models using the company tech, supervising maintenance staff, scheduling repairs for customer and company-owned equipment, maintaining customer relationships, responding to inquiries, and overseeing training and safety. Requires industry knowledge in maintenance/repair, leadership experience, strong communication, customer service mindset, and a valid driver’s license. Role includes company benefits and safety protocols; physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and passing a drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience leading maintenance teams
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair
- Industry knowledge in rental/construction
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Valid driver’s license; 21+ to operate company vehicle
- Must pass 10-panel drug screen
