Job Summary
Service Manager leads team to deliver an exceptional customer experience in an automotive service environment. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a high-performing team, ensuring safety and compliance, coordinating scheduling, managing service orders and communications, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing the Code of Ethics, and partnering with customers to address vehicle conditions. Requires strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of automotive servicing, and ASE certifications; typically involves 50-hour work weeks, in Ellsworth, ME.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
