Job Summary
Service Manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Service Department, overseeing Service and Installation Technicians, Warehouse Coordinators, and Customer Service Representatives. Leads safety-focused decision-making, ensures timely sales/installations/services in accordance with policies and state/federal codes, coordinates cross-functional communication with Sales, Delivery, Billing, Safety, and Fleet, coaches direct reports, builds a positive culture aligned with Eastern’s pillars (Reliability, Responsiveness, Safety, Convenience), manages staffing and training, maintains accurate documentation of accidents and injuries, ensures vehicle and equipment readiness in collaboration with Fleet, and supports remote on-call coverage outside regular hours while adapting to seasonal needs. Must live within the district’s coverage area and perform 100% on-site work with limited remote responsibilities after hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education a plus.
- Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience preferred.
- Prior management and leadership experience a plus.
