Job Summary
Service Center Manager at Lucid Motors in Germany leads the daily operations of the Service Center, overseeing a cross-functional team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and Parts personnel. Responsible for delivering premium service standards, driving customer satisfaction, acting as escalation point for issues, optimizing workflow and throughput, monitoring KPIs, ensuring legal, safety, and environmental compliance, and collaborating with Sales, Delivery, Parts, and Technical Operations. Requires completed technical education (e.g., Kfz-Meisterbrief or equivalent), 10+ years in automotive service with 5+ in management, fluency in German and English, strong leadership, knowledge of diagnostics and repair procedures, DMS and MS Office proficiency, and a willingness to travel. Travel readiness and hands-on support for repairs are expected. Background check may be required in accordance with European data protection laws.
Required Qualifications
- Completed technical education (e.g., Kfz-Meisterbrief or equivalent) or Technical School Certificate
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the automotive service industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Deep knowledge of automotive diagnostics, systems, and repair procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and DMS systems; ability to lead digital transformation initiatives
- Valid Class B driver’s license
- Willingness to be hands-on and support repairs when necessary
- Able to travel regionally and internationally as needed
