Job Summary
Service Manager at Dream Live Prosper Communities in Baton Rouge responsible for overseeing the maintenance and service department to ensure resident satisfaction. Leads maintenance team, oversees preventive maintenance and vendor partnerships, and manages budgets, schedules, and on-call rotations. Multi-skilled duties span HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, pool maintenance, painting, grounds, and general repairs, with emphasis on timely work orders, cost-saving initiatives, inspections, and safety. Strong leadership, budgeting, vendor management, and customer service skills are required to maintain peak system performance and high resident experience.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC Certified
- Lease-Up Experience preferred
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager or similar
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems
- Leadership and team management
- Budgeting and cost control
- Communication with team, vendors, and residents
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Own basic tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and walk stairs
- Familiarity with property management operations
