Job Summary
Service Manager in Derry, NH leads automotive service operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional customer experiences. Key duties include building and developing a high-performing team, hiring and coaching, ensuring LMS and vendor trainings, ensuring ASE certifications (C1, P2, G1) are pursued, scheduling to meet customer needs across all hours, maintaining facility standards, implementing the 5 for 5 process to educate customers on vehicle conditions, dispatching work orders effectively, and upholding the service Code of Ethics and applicable regulations. The role requires strong leadership, communication, organizational skills, and deep understanding of automotive servicing industry; typically involves a 5-day work week with a minimum of 50 hours, and an exempt, salaried employment classification.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
