Job Summary
Service Manager will oversee culinary service operations at the 225 Liberty location, ensuring profitable operation and high-quality service levels. Responsibilities include supervising the service team and support staff (setup, utilities, maintenance, security), coordinating culinary and service activities, maintaining accurate counts and menu/service alignment with production and culinary teams, enforcing health and safety regulations, monitoring beverage consumption, and upholding sanitation and cleanliness of service areas. The role requires experience in conference-center or related settings, supervisory capabilities, strong knowledge of service standards, familiarity with food/beverage preparation techniques and applicable health/liquor regulations, ability to train staff, conduct inspections, and maintain client satisfaction. The position may require flexible, long hours and physical ability to move/lift items as part of daily duties. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 or more years of progressive experience in a conference center or related field
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Strong knowledge of service standards
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules and liquor laws
- Involvement in ongoing training of service staff
- Manage opening and/or closing inspection duties
- Maintain service cleanliness in front and back of site
- Ensure positive client satisfaction
- Ability to interact with guests and associates courteously and discreetly
- Flexible and long hours as needed
- Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds
- Adhere to hygiene and grooming standards
