Job Summary
Lead daily operations for the commercial roofing service department by supervising technicians, scheduling repair and maintenance projects, and managing preventative maintenance programs. Coordinate leak responses, warranty services, and subcontractors while developing project estimates and proposals for clients. Build relationships with building owners and facility directors to drive recurring revenue and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to high quality standards. Monitor department profitability, productivity, and OSHA compliance while resolving service issues quickly. Requires 7–10 years of experience in commercial roofing operations and leadership of service teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in commercial roofing, industrial roofing, or related construction service operations
- Previous leadership experience managing commercial roofing service, repair, or maintenance teams
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, leak investigation, preventative maintenance, roof restoration, and repair methods
- Experience preparing estimates, proposals, and managing project budgets
- Excellent leadership, communication, and customer relationship management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and service crews simultaneously
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel within the service territory as needed
