Job Summary
Service Manager role leading a cluster of Ofsted-registered children’s homes in Blackpool. Responsible for directing a high-performing residential care team, ensuring safeguarding and regulatory compliance, driving continuous improvement, and shaping home strategies with a pathway toward multi-site leadership. Requires minimum 3 years’ Registered Manager experience with positive Ofsted grades, Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or current progression), strong leadership and regulatory knowledge (Reg 40s, audits, safeguarding). Opportunity to progress to Service Manager with CPD and leadership development; accountability for care outcomes, quality assurance, and staff development in a UK children’s residential setting.
Required Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or currently working towards it)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Manager with positive Ofsted grades
- Strong leadership skills and thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks (including Reg 40s, audits, safeguarding)
