Job Summary
Service Manager responsible for leading the store team, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, building an extraordinary team, managing daily operations, coaching staff, scheduling and dispatch, maintaining facility and equipment, enforcing ethics and standards, and coordinating with management to meet performance targets. Requires automotive service management experience, ASE certs, driver’s license, and strong leadership/communication skills; typical 5-day week with 50+ hours; in Burlington, VT.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- Must have strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Knowledge of automotive servicing and industry
