Job Summary
Service Manager to oversee a high-volume automotive service department, leading technicians and support staff, managing both technical and administrative aspects of service delivery, implementing preventive and line maintenance programs, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, handling customer interactions and driving service metrics, and coordinating cross-department processes to improve efficiency and customer retention.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 10 years progressive experience in a service management role within automotive repair/maintenance or related industry
- proven knowledge of preventive and line maintenance procedures
- strong customer service skills with experience managing customer interactions and satisfaction
- familiarity with electrical troubleshooting
- preferred Qualifications: associate or bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Business Management, or related field; NADA training; ASE certifications; experience with CDK; leadership experience; knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance
