Job Summary
The Boat Services Manager is responsible for managing daily operations in the Boat Service area, including inventory control, service, warranty, rigging, and delivery. Key responsibilities include supervising associates, scheduling and assigning service work, resolving customer and associate issues, maintaining a safe working environment, and supporting financial goals for the department. Candidates should have 2-4 years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team and processes within the Boat Service department.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years in Retail Boating or similar industry
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, and percentages
- Ability to read and analyze reports
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, and data management systems
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
