Job Summary
Service Manager to lead the service department for a multi-location commercial truck service operation. Responsibilities include scheduling service appointments, producing accurate labor and parts estimates, documenting vehicle problems on repair orders, greeting and gathering vehicle information from customers, monitoring repair progress with the shop foreman and technicians, referencing service and warranty history, recommending additional needed services, managing and motivating service department staff and advisors, ensuring timely communications with customers about changes in estimates or repair timelines, upselling products and services, handling payments, and performing other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- Excellent managerial skills
- 4-10 years related experience (preferred)
