Job Summary
Service Manager in Bath, ME responsible for leading automotive service operations, building and coaching a high-performing team, ensuring safety compliance, managing scheduling and dispatch of work orders, maintaining facility and equipment standards, and delivering a superior customer experience while adhering to policy and ethical standards. The role includes coordinating LMS/technical training for associates, driving execution of the 5-for-5 customer education process, supervising safety practices, and serving as policy administrator at the location. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and automotive servicing knowledge are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
