Job Summary
Experienced Service Manager sought to oversee service and repair operations within a single-unit auto care store. Responsible for managing service technicians, driving service sales and profitability, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Collaborates with the Store Manager on technician development, performance evaluations, and scheduling; analyzes performance data to identify improvement opportunities; ensures adherence to safety procedures, inventory control, and efficient shop operations. Requires strong technical knowledge of auto service, ability to lead a fast-paced team, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, and possess a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in the automotive repair industry as a technician, service advisor, or service manager
- Previous experience managing technicians strongly preferred
- Strong technical acumen of automotive repair standards, tools, processes, etc.
- Valid Drivers’ License Required
