Service Manager position in Augusta, ME leads an automotive service department, focusing on safety, team development, scheduling, training, and compliance. Responsible for hiring and coaching associates, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, maintaining facility and equipment, managing service desk and work orders, and upholding the Code of Ethics and applicable regulations. Requires strong leadership, communication, and industry knowledge, plus ASE certifications and a valid driver's license. Exempt, full-time role with a 5-day workweek and minimum 50 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Two years related experience in automotive service management
  • Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
  • Equipment Safety Certification
  • ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
  • ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
  • ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
  • State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
