Job Summary
Service Manager leads a team to deliver an exceptional automotive customer experience in a safety- and ethics-driven environment. Responsibilities include hiring and developing a high-performing team, ensuring LMS and vendor training completion, certifying associates in ASE programs, coordinating scheduling to meet customer needs, dispatching work orders to technicians, maintaining a compliant and safe service facility, and communicating effectively with management and staff. The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, strong communication, understanding of automotive servicing, and adherence to the Code of Ethics and applicable regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related experience in automotive service management
- Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended
- Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence
- Equipment Safety Certification
- ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required
- State Inspection License Required (where applicable)
- ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended
- ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended
