Job Summary
Maintenance Supervisor needed to oversee and perform a variety of technical and mechanical tasks across our Macon, GA communities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and optimal functionality. Lead and train maintenance staff, manage and adhere to annual maintenance budgets, and contribute to financial performance related to maintenance. Ensure market readiness of lofts within five business days, perform or supervise electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, roofing, and general maintenance repairs, and document service requests. Identify energy-saving opportunities, uphold safety and EPA/OSHA regulations, maintain an organized maintenance shop, coordinate with the Community Manager on bids and contractor interactions, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards. Requires strong hands-on maintenance abilities, the ability to work independently, and availability for 24-hour emergency calls; travel to other properties in the geographic area may be required. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and EPA and Swimming Pool Certifications; college certifications are a plus. Minimum five years in apartment maintenance or related field with strong HVAC, electrical, and plumbing skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Up-to-Date Universal EPA Certification required
- Swimming Pool Certification required
- College degree and/or certifications are a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in apartment maintenance or related field
- Strong HVAC experience
- Strong electrical experience and trouble shooting skills, licensed preferred
- Strong plumbing experience and trouble shooting skills, licensed preferred
- Must have proper tools, meters, gauges and power tools required for all trades
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and adequate car insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be available for weekend, holiday and evening work as needed
- Travel and overnight stays are limited but may be required
- OneSite/RealPage experience preferred
