Job Summary
Systems Manager to oversee daily service operations, manage technician schedules, coordinate field activities, supervise service technicians, and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include coordinating daily technician schedules, prioritizing and dispatching service work orders, maintaining dispatch boards, communicating with customers, supporting the Installation Department, and serving as the primary liaison among customers, technicians, and internal departments. Lead and motivate the service team, monitor productivity and labor hours, assist with hiring/training, ensure service tickets and documentation are completed accurately, collaborate with accounting for billing, track KPIs and operational metrics, approve timecards, and ensure safety/compliance with OSHA standards. Preferred experience in fire protection or security integration and familiarity with dispatching/field service operations; candidates should be able to work extended hours, lift/move equipment when needed, and work independently.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems service, installation, service operations, field supervision, or a related role
- Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service abilities, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based software applications, including service management systems
- Ability to effectively coordinate technicians, schedules, and service operations while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be familiar with CCTV, alarm systems, phone systems, and intercom systems
