Job Summary
Hands-on Service Manager responsible for leading, organizing, and growing the Service and Repair Department for ASP Tucson Northeast. Duties include field support, managing technicians, scheduling and prioritizing service/repair work, responding to service leads, meeting revenue and gross-margin goals through accurate quoting and strong service execution, building and maintaining customer relationships, training technicians on equipment diagnostics, water chemistry, and company processes, and providing hands-on field support as needed. Will oversee parts, materials, equipment, warehouse inventory, and truck inventory, and utilize company training resources to continually improve technical knowledge and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience repairing and installing pool equipment (automation, pumps, filters, heaters, cleaners, salt systems)
- familiar with water chemistry practices and principles
- ability to manage and prioritize a busy, complex schedule
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- ability to lift and carry 50 lb
- team-oriented mindset and mentorship/leadership capabilities
- availability to work both in the field and in an office environment
- smartphone and computer proficiency
