Job Summary
Oversee maintenance operations for an apartment community, supervising maintenance staff and coordinating preventive maintenance, make-ready and rehab projects. Responsible for scheduling, safety training, budgeting, and responding to resident/work orders while handling groundskeeping and/or pool duties as needed. Collaborates with Community Manager and Regional Maintenance Supervisor to ensure property upkeep, compliance with HVAC/plumbing/electrical repairs, and quality service for residents. Proficient in English reading/writing, equipped with property management software skills, and able to manage vendors, contractors, and maintenance budgets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years of multi-family experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- EPA Section 608 (HVAC/Freon Recovery) certification
- City or State certifications/permits to perform job responsibilities
- Training in boiler repair, plumbing and mold detection/resolution
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
- Must supply own hand tools
