Service Maintenance Technician II

Job Summary
Service Technician II responsible for diagnosing and repairing appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC; respond to service requests and on-call emergencies, supervise preventive maintenance for building systems, prepare/repair vacant apartments for move-ins, maintain grounds and common spaces, assist with REAC/HQS inspections, maintain maintenance shop/inventory with PPE, participate in weekend/on-call duties, and provide technical guidance to Maintenance Tech I; requires strong customer service, English proficiency, valid driver's license, and ability to work in an in-person office five days a week; prior experience in building trades, property management, or hospitality and knowledge of safety practices including PPE and OSHA-related certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school or 3 years of progressive responsibility in property management or hospitality
- Minimum of 3 years of advanced hands-on repair experience in two or more building trades
- REAC/HQS experience preferred
- Industry-Trade certifications/Degrees (NAHMS, CAMT, OSHA, HVAC, ETC) preferred
