Service & Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Plan, organize, and execute maintenance and repair activities, performing root cause analysis on instrumentation, piping, and DCS/PLC systems. Calibrate sensors, optimize electrical subsystems, and develop maintenance schedules and protocols. Conduct on-site service visits at domestic and international customer locations while acting as the technical point of contact. Coordinate external service providers, manage service contracts, and analyze malfunctions to recommend technical improvements. Implement predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance strategies, collaborate on digital twins, and contribute to HAZOP processes. Develop training manuals and lead sessions for plant operators. Requires a degree in engineering, several years of industrial system experience, and willingness to travel internationally and participate in on-call duty rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation & Control Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
- Several years of experience in service, maintenance, or operations of process or industrial systems
- Solid understanding of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems (EMSR)
- Hands-on experience with DCS and/or PLC systems

- Experience managing external contractors and technical projects
