Service Line Lead Surgical Technologist

Lead the service line by ensuring the operating room has the supplies and equipment needed for scheduled surgeries; maintain physician requests and relationships within the service line; collaborate with a Nurse Clinician for staff competency development to ensure high-quality patient care in the OR. Responsible for equipment and instrumentation needs, setting par levels for supplies, and recommending purchases through the Surgery Inventory VAC Committee. Schedule in-services for new equipment/procedures, coordinate with physicians, scheduler, service line leads, and managers, and contribute to planning, budgeting, and staff development with management approval. Develop operating room orientation programs, participate in performance improvement efforts, and maintain positive professional relationships while ensuring adherence to AORN and RCH guidelines.
