Service Line Lead RN | Surgical Services

Lead nurse in the Surgical Services line within the OR, collaborating with the Health Unit Clerk and Assistant Director to develop and reinforce service-line competencies, lead the plan of care for complex patients, implement orientation programs for specialty areas, and ensure adherence to standard of care while supporting quality assurance initiatives. Includes responsibilities for daily section operations, staff evaluation, and participation in department and quality-improvement activities. Requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certifications, with CNOR preferred; involves very heavy physical work and managing scheduling as part of OR leadership.
