Job Summary
The Commercial Lines Service Leader oversees the department and acts as the direct liaison to the Commercial Lines Leadership team. This role involves supervising, mentoring, and developing Team Leads and Client Service staff, addressing client issues, and coordinating internal resources for training and performance management. Key responsibilities include conducting performance reviews, participating in hiring processes, auditing service standards, and providing feedback for process improvements. Candidates must possess strong leadership and analytical skills, a Property and Casualty License, extensive account management experience, and proficiency in industry software. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also required.
Required Qualifications
- Property and Casualty License
- Minimum 8 years’ account management experience in the insurance industry with a focus on commercial lines of coverage
- Experience using EPIC and AMS360
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word)
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of insurance markets, products, and underwriting procedures
- Valid driver’s license and reliable source of transportation
