Job Summary

Service Lead to support Branch/Service Manager with shop flow and service quality for the rental/delivery fleet. Responsibilities include prioritizing and assigning repairs for downed equipment, executing regular preventative maintenance and major repairs (approx. 75%), ensuring accurate documentation, monitoring parts/orders/expenses, and providing safety/process/technical performance feedback. Responsibilities also include coordinating with shop and office, instructing on troubleshooting/repair techniques for gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drive trains, welding techniques, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized shop; may assist with yard duties and equipment movement.

Required Qualifications

  • Possess mechanical knowledge of construction equipment
  • Ability to demonstrate basic computer and typing skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual is a plus
  • Minimum age of 21 years; valid driver license and good driving record
  • Capable of lifting up to 90 lbs with assistance as needed
  • Ability to work 40-hour week with possible overtime
  • Ability to maintain safe working environment and adhere to safety policies
