Service Lane Assistant

Job Summary
Greets clients and escorts them to appropriate members, then parks and retrieves vehicles in designated areas. Finds and installs license plates, replaces bulbs, and helps transfer luggage or packages between cars. Assists technicians by moving inoperable vehicles and alerts the manager to any damage. Keeps the service drive free of vehicles and maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care. Performs housekeeping duties to keep the area clean and clear of debris. Notifies the Assistant Service Manager or Estimator if a client is waiting. Requires a valid, insurable driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Attends department meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must be able to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must be able to adjust focus
