Job Summary
Conduct periodic preventive maintenance, troubleshoot chemical, mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, and perform diagnostic analysis on PLC controllers and power supplies. Execute repairs, correct malfunctions, and modify or update equipment as required. Provide on-site technical training to customer personnel and assist in installing new carwash equipment. Maintain tools, test equipment, and materials professionally while operating a vehicle safely. Interface with customers and company personnel to resolve complaints and ensure effective communication. Document all repairs and services accurately. Work with unique customer processes and stay abreast of new developments to improve departmental performance.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years relevant field experience
- Requires technical knowledge and ability to develop improved methods for fulfilling responsibilities
- Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to read and comprehend documents and follow simple instructions
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams
- Understanding of OLC controllers, low voltage control circuits and three-phase power
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb and use hands to grip regularly
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Maintain professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined
