Job Summary
Service Innovation Engineer within the Image Guided Therapy Systems Customer Services - Service Innovation team. Improve and secure the serviceability of released products by representing the service organization in product development, assess Design Change Requests to define impact on serviceability, prepare and approve Engineering Change Requests focused on serviceability, define and publish service information including tools and spare parts for field customers, perform validation testing of service functionalities, enhance service information based on field feedback, transfer information to the Philips Healthcare training center and Helpdesk, address escalated customer calls, and contribute to the Quality Management System. The role requires HBO-level technical training, 3–5 years of experience, and strong English/Dutch communication, with in-person office collaboration at least 3 days per week at the Best, Netherlands location.
Required Qualifications
- HBO-education in a technical competence, e.g. Mechanics, Electronics, Bio Medicals
- at least 3-5 years working experience
- good communication skills in English and Dutch
- experience in, or a strong affinity with: Customer Service or Service Organizations
- Cross-functional collaboration with multiple disciplines
- Project Management skills or project participation
- Working with R&D or in an R&D environment
- Working in a state-of-the-art, high-tech environment
- Technical Documentation and tools
- Medical Device Industry and its regulations
- Lean Methodologies and Continuous Improvement

- ability to handle stress and meet targets
- experience in multinational settings and possibly NPI launches
- ability to synthesize roadmap and portfolio dynamics; comfortable with tradeoffs
