Job Summary
Create quotes for HVAC service projects and agreements by developing detailed scopes, system sketches, and preliminary proposals for Account Managers. Calculate cost estimates covering materials, equipment, labor, and subcontractors while identifying cost-saving opportunities and risks. Negotiate vendor prices and participate in pre-job meetings to review scope and strategy. Maintain competitive advantage by staying current with industry standards and construction facets. Work onsite Monday through Thursday with flexible Friday options in Maitand, FL, requiring overtime or weekend availability as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in engineering, engineering technology or related study
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' related experience
- Technical certificate with five (5) years related experience
- HVAC Technician experience with combination of education and related field experience
- Valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months
- No major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years
- No DUI
- No Hit & Run
- No License Suspension
- No Reckless/Careless Driving
- No multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associates degree in engineering, engineering technology or related study preferred
- Working knowledge of all facets of construction including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, etc.
- Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required
