Job Summary
Coordinate technical service actions in-house and in the field while establishing positive customer relationships for product-related issues. Interpret and distribute Service Change Notices, create Technical Service Bulletins for ZF products, and provide technical support on new releases, B.O.M.'s, and catalogs. Assist in warranty inspections, perform failure analysis on claims, and proactively alert Product Management and Quality departments about potential safety and technical issues. Troubleshoot drivetrain problems and collaborate with product and quality teams to find solutions, with occasional domestic and international travel up to 20%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
- Must be able to troubleshoot/problem solve drivetrain issues
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship by ZF now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred 1+ years experience (including internship or co op)
- Preferred experience with high voltage vehicle systems and CAN knowledge
- Preferred heavy duty construction vehicle or commercial vehicle experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Project management, good customer relations and negotiation skills
- Self driven and result & detail oriented
- Occasional domestic and international travel
