Job Summary
Provide prompt technical support for Yokogawa automation systems, including CENTUM VP, CS3000 DCS, ProSafe-RS SIS/ESD, and PRM platforms. Investigate and resolve hardware, software, networking, and application issues through root cause analysis. Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities, perform system upgrades, and implement online or offline engineering modifications. Conduct customized training workshops for customers and support business development by identifying lifecycle solutions. Deliver on-site support at customer facilities across Saudi Arabia, including offshore and remote locations, based on resident engineer assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in: Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience with Yokogawa systems, including: CENTUM VP / CS3000, ProSafe-RS, PRM (Plant Resource Manager)
- Strong working knowledge of: UGS Unit Operations, SEBOL, Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus, Profibus, OPC (DA/UA), Industrial Ethernet and Networking, FAST/TOOLS, STARDOM
- Proven experience in: DCS/SIS engineering and maintenance, System troubleshooting and diagnostics, Plant commissioning and start-up activities
- Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Process Industries
- Strong expertise in Yokogawa DCS and Safety Systems engineering
- Sound knowledge of process automation, control strategies, and online maintenance
- Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical capabilities
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols and network architecture
- Strong customer service orientation and commitment to service excellence
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
