Job Summary
Service Engineer to perform onsite and remote troubleshooting of Supermicro server systems in enterprise data centers; diagnose and resolve hardware issues across GPUs, CPUs, memory, NVMe, NICs, and interconnects; execute hardware diagnostics, system validation, and root cause analysis; coordinate RMA processes and spare parts logistics; manage service tickets using Salesforce or similar ticketing systems; travel to customer data centers to support deployments and break-fix activities (up to 20%); preferred strong Linux skills, scripting, and GPU platform experience; collaboration with Technical Account Managers and Project Managers to support assigned customer accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience preferred
- 3-5+ years’ experience in enterprise data center operations
- 3-5+ years’ experience working with server, storage, compute and network hardware
- 3-5+ years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing servers and networking infrastructure
- 3-5+ years’ experience in Inventory Management, and ordering, receiving and shipping server and network equipment
- Work is often performed in data center environment and physical dexterity is necessary to perform job functions
- Available to work weekends, as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required
