Job Summary
Service Engineer / Specialist to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize 24/7 control systems in active operational environments. Focus on field service operations, incident response within SLA, system upgrades/commissioning, and technical coordination with customers and internal teams. Responsibilities include inspecting and updating control systems, troubleshooting failures, monitoring service channels, tracking KPIs, 24/7 on-call participation, reviewing P&IDs, configuring HMI screens and PLC/DDC/DCS logic, supporting onsite startup/calibration/testing, assisting with customer training and handover, providing technical input during customer and sales discussions, and identifying additional service opportunities within existing accounts. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field, strong mechanical/electrical understanding in industrial/building automation, experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara N4, Distech, Johnson Controls Metasys/Facility Explorer, Siemens, Rockwell, and familiarity with HVAC systems, P&IDs, and functional testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with one or more automation platforms listed: Tridium Niagara N4, Distech BACnet/LON/Eclypse, Johnson Controls Metasys/Facility Explorer, Siemens DXR, Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 5000/PlantPAx, familiarity with HVAC systems, P&IDs, and functional testing, ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
